The folks over at Freschetta Pizza sent over some coupons for me to try their new Freschetta FlatBread Pizza. I’ve never tasted their pizzas before, so I’m pretty excited to try one. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think the Roasted Garlic and Spinach looks pretty interesting. And I know the kids will probably want to try the Pepperoni pizza. On their web site, they say all their ingredients are fresh, but I wish they listed the exact ingredients inside each product.
By the way, in case you’re interested in trying out any of the Bruschetta pizzas for yourself, they’ve got a $1.00 coupon you can print outonline at their web site.
UPDATE
So now that I’ve had a chance to try Freschetta, here’s my take on it. On the positive side, the crust is flavorful and soft, and overall, the pizza has a good flavor. The cheese pizza is a good base to use for creating your own pizza. We made ours into a veggie pizza.
On the not so positive side, the pizza is expensive (about $8 at our local grocery store) and small. I could order a medium pizza at Domino’s for about the price of one of these. While the size of the box gives the appearance that the product will be large, the product is at best the size of a small pizza at Domino’s. Also, one thing that bothered me is that despite the packagingstating how fresh the product and ingredients are, with “no preservatives”, when I looked at the list of ingredients, I found it contained partially hydrogenated soybean oil, and there is nothing fresh or natural about that. It also contained palm oil, which although natural, is about as artery-clogging as the partially hydrogenated soybean oil.
So would I try it again? Probably not. The taste, while good, doesn’t outweigh the health concerns I would have from eating this product.

I’ve never tried it. Thanks for the info about the coupons.
