Where Have I Been?

Has it really been a month since my last post?  Who would have known that working and motherhood would be so time consuming?!  Actually, at this point, it’s more work than motherhood that’s time consuming.  Today was probably the worst day I’ve had at work because there are so many things that all need to get done, and they all have to be done today, they’re all priority, and I seem to be the only one who knows how to do them.  I need to train some of our staff on how to do certain tasks to take some of the load off me, but then again, where do I find the time when there is no time to spare?

We’re in the midst of a huge project now that will be continuing until about the end of April.  I get bombarded all day long with endless questions and concerns.  So much so that I can hardly think or focus on one thing at a time because there are a million other things that seem to need my attention at the same time.  It’s a lot like being at home with the kids.  I never get a moment’s rest and going to the bathroom or eating lunch has become a luxury I rarely if ever encounter.  And don’t get me started on trying to do something without being interrupted.  It’s worse than it is at home.  (Speaking of which, here comes Chase now…)

By the way, my Chase is turning 5 tomorrow!  I can hardly believe how quickly the time has past.  In a few more weeks Felicity will be another year older.  Of course, I just keep getting younger as the years go by… !
