August 31st, 2009Well, today was the first day of school for Felicity, and not only does she have homework, but so do I. I have to fill out a survey for her teacher that includes Felicity’s likes, personality traits, and general information to help her teacher learn more about her. I also have a barrage of paperwork to go through from the school.
Aaaahh, back to the old grind.
At least Felicity likes her teacher. She was both nervous and excited about going back. She was getting bored at home. I personally will miss sleeping in a little, but on the flip side, by getting up earlier, I should be able to get more done during the day.
(Oh, wait — I still have a 2 year old to take care of – what am I thinking?!)

I remember lots of first days of school with my kids now I’m doing the same thing with my grandkids.
Felicity looks like she is enjoying the first day. How cute she is.
Thanks, Tracey! So far, so good for Felicity. Her teacher seems really nice and is pretty energetic. I think she should have a good year.
Last I heard earlier today, the fires are about 22% contained. They said the area that’s burned is about the size of Chicago. There was ash falling everywhere when I took Felicity to school today. The sad part is they think they were started by a person.
Sounds like your grandkids keep you pretty busy, mommy too. How many do you have?
My kids started school already too. They had mixed feelings..but Felicity looks pretty happy.

I have 6 grandchildren and my 7th is due in December!
