On Wednesday I’m off to take the kids to the beach. I haven’t been to the beach in years. So much traffic and nowhere to park are the main reasons. Felicity is so excited, but has some high expectations. I hope she doesn’t get disappointed.
“Are we going to a real beach?”
“Yes, we are.”
“What kind of beach are we going to?”
“One with an ocean and sand.”
“Will I be able to see any fish?”
“No, we’re not going into the deep part of the water.”
“Well, I hope I can at least pet a dolphin.”
Oh, my. Let’s hope building sand castles will be as much fun as petting a dolphin.

Kids always love going to the beach.
My children had such good times at our beach. They not only loved the water, but they loved the sand just as much…(I could do without all the sand in everything)!
I guess that we were lucky that we lived close to the ocean.
Kids are just priceless:-)
