August 22nd, 2009There are so many children’s items that get recalled that I never hear about, so I thought it would be a good idea to keep a running list so us mothers can stay informed. All information is taken from the US Consumer Product Commission web site (www.cpsc.gov).

With the scare of all the toys and items from China, we need to be up on all the recalls.
I think your idea for a running list of some of the recalls is terrific.

You never realize how many items get recalled until you actually see the list. And most recalls don’t get publicized, so half of them you never hear of, unless you happen to see a notice posted somewhere in the store.
How true! When I am at the store returning something, I’ll happened to see a recall list behind the counter. If I didn’t return something, I’d never have seen the list.
