A Night Out At The Movies

I can’t remember the last time I went out to dinner and a movie on a Friday night, but today, when a friend of mine called and asked if I was free, I took her up on her offer.  I rarely get to go out with friends, so this was a treat!  We went to see “The Time Traveler’s Wife”.  I know, total chick flick, but I really wanted to see it, and I wasn’t disappointed.  I won’t give out any details in case there is anyone who is planning to see the movie, but I will say that when the movie was over, I just wanted to hold Del and the kids.  It makes you want to appreciate every moment you have together, because you never know how much time you have with your loved ones and you need to make the most of it.

  • I'm a mommy too!

I haven’t seen the movie either but I do want to see it.

I know movies & books, etc can really make you think about life and how precious your loved ones are.

You make the movie very interesting by wanting to hold Del & the kids.

Most “chick flicks” are usually good.

  • I’m a total chick flick movie watcher.

    I’m another chick flick mom!

Movie sounds great! Maybe I’ll go with my husband and that way I can hold him in the movie theatre.

I usually just wait until the movie comes out on rental or I’ll buy it. Most likely, I forget about it by this time and just see it for the first time on tv. Sad, huh?
